布坑社区位于浦南镇西部，漳华路沿线，2021年6月由布坑村改为社区。社区名称取自村庄依盆地分布的地形。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄建在盆地之上，因而得名布坑。[1]

行政区划[edit]

社区辖布坑、龙前、新村3个自然村，设5个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地为小农场。解放后归龙溪县第五区埔里保管辖；1953年改属石亭，1958年划入星火公社。[1]

1959年，它归浦南公社浯沧大队；1961年转入漳州市浦林公社并设布坑大队；1984年改为村委会。2021年6月4日，由村改为社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
