浦林社区是浦南镇下辖的社区，2021年6月由浦林村改设，沿用原名。[1]

地名由来[edit]

古时村落临水，“浦”字即水边之意；又因此处树林茂盛，故称浦林。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初，此地是县仓乡的一部分，归浦林公社管辖。1984年，浦林公社撤并入浦南镇，随即设立浦林村村民委员会。[1]
