蓬莱社区是浦南镇下辖的社区，位于九龙江北溪沿岸。社区名称与一段旧时的岛屿传说有关。[1]

地名由来[edit]

相传有一位姓郑的渔人在此捕鱼。当时此地还是江中的岛屿，景致幽静，被雅称为“蓬莱岛”。后来河床改道，岛屿与陆地相连，聚落沿江发展，遂名“蓬莱”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

蓬莱在明清两代归龙溪县廿三、四都的松州堡。民国时期划入浦南区洛滨保；解放后，它被编入第八区洛滨乡，1953年改属溪国乡，1958年则并入星火公社。[1]

1960年，村子转归长泰古农农场管理。次年，它重新归漳州市浦南公社，并设蓬莱大队；1984年改为村委会。2021年6月，村改为社区，名称未变。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。2025年10月，蓬莱社区被认定为「漳州市2025年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产品为苦瓜。[1]
