浦南镇是福建省漳州市芗城区下辖的镇，位于市区北郊，地处九龙江北溪南岸，与龙文、华安、长泰等地交界。全镇辖6个社区和16个行政村。[1]

镇名取自“浦”字，此字有水边或河流入海之处的意思，镇域位于九龙江北溪之南。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

唐总章二年（669年），陈政率领府兵平息蛮乱，经溪园一带渡过九龙江，转入龙溪县境。景龙二年（708年），镇域内设立了松洲书院，是唐代的讲学机构。[1]

明清时期，此地分属龙溪县二十三、四都。清代驻有绿营兵，设检查站，称浦南汛。[1]

1935年，此地属龙溪县第五区（浦南区）；1947年改属龙溪县浦南乡，辖13保。[1]

文化遗产[edit]

陈元光墓在石鼓山，墓碑题“唐开漳陈将军墓”。墓主陈元光为唐代名将。该墓2013年被列入第七批全国重点文物保护单位，此前已于1961年确认为第一批福建省文物保护单位。[2]

鳌浦村的鳌浦关帝庙建于清代，2013年1月，它被列入第八批福建省文物保护单位名单。[3]

松州村的松州威惠庙中殿遗址，初名“将军庙”，陈元光于唐景云二年（711年）战殁后，朝廷下诏立庙。[1]

非物质文化遗产有浦南古傩。[1]

环境保护部在2014年9月把2012年至2013年度的「国家级生态乡镇」称号授予了浦南。[1] 「福建省卫生乡镇」由福建省爱卫办确认，于2020年12月授予浦南镇。[1] 2021年2月，浦南镇列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1] 福建省农业农村厅在2022年10月认定浦南镇为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1] 2024年4月，浦南镇被纳入「第三批省级乡村振兴示范乡镇创建对象」名单。[1]
