蔡坑社区是福建省漳州市芗城区石亭街道下辖的社区，位于街道东南部，原为蔡坑村。村处于山丘坑垅之中，传说早年有蔡氏来此垦荒建村，村名因此而来。[1][3]

原蔡坑村总面积1平方千米，总人口1111人，297户，以曾、陈两姓为主，村民以种植业和养殖业为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此地先属龙溪县，解放前隶石亭乡，解放后归五区双坑乡。1958年并入星火公社，1961年自龙海县转入漳州市北斗公社，随即设蔡坑大队。北斗公社于1981年并入石亭公社，此后1984年村子成为石亭乡蔡坑村委会，2020年6月3日起为蔡坑社区居民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有宰乡大庙，建于清代。曾氏宗祠（谷贻堂）的碑刻记载了祠址土地的来历，碑立于清乾隆二十四年。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。村曾被评为漳州市文明村，并获农联社“信用村”等称号。[1][2]
