石亭街道地处福建省漳州市芗城区北部，离市区约7公里，由原石亭镇于2021年撤镇改设，现辖24个社区和南山村。[1][3][4]

街道东侧与龙文区的朝阳街道接壤，西侧为天宝镇，南面临北环城路，北边与浦南镇相邻。漳华路与漳龙高速公路穿过辖区，漳龙高速的漳州西出口紧贴街道北端。全境面积46.2平方千米。[1][2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

街道由原石亭镇改设。2021年，芝山镇和石亭镇一并撤镇改街，此后芗城区辖8个街道办事处、2个镇和1个管委会。[2][3]

经济[edit]

香蕉、蜜柚两种作物与鱼类养殖构成当地农业的主体。南山村的加州鲈鱼养殖、后园社区的蜜柚种植、庵山社区的果蔬销售，以及秋坑社区的生态文化园，是博雅地名网所举的代表。[2]

辖区内有涂料、日用品和家具等行业的规模工业企业。街道被定位为主城区工业外溢的“飞地工业”载体，配合金峰开发区发展钢铁、装备制造、生物科技和现代服务等产业集群。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

街道内保存较完好的古迹有陈氏宗祠功德堂。当地把陈元光北庙、铁树、古榕与古井合称“北乡四宝”，其中铁树已有千年。[2]
