金源社区位于芗城区通北街道辖区，处在漳州中心城区之内。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区名称取“百炼成金”、传承有源之意。2002年7月，原金源、凤高、北庙三处社区归并为一个社区，即现在的金源社区。[1]

2024年1月，社区被命名为「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]

概况[edit]

据2023年8月的一篇报道，社区约有1.82平方公里辖区，居民常住其间的有5003人，共1789户。党组织方面，党总支下设7个党支部，党员共112人。报道称社区获得过「全国综合减灾示范社区」「全省先进基层党组织」等多项荣誉。[2]
