华南社区隶属福建省漳州市芗城区西桥街道，属主城区。社区名称由两条旧街名各取一字拼成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初这里叫卫华街，1951年与钟南街合并，改称华南街。钟南街即今西桥社区一带的旧街名。1954年，市人民政府正式为其命名并建制。2002年4月，原华南、通元两个居委会整合为本社区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

社区于2024年1月获评「2023年福建省卫生社区」。[1]
