旗星村在向阳乡北部，乡政府驻地以北约2.4公里处，西湖山西麓的丘陵山谷间。[1]村子原名大墘垄，因村境内有铜石旗景观，后改为现名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

农业社于1956年设立，大队于1958年建成，1984年才设立旗星村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

下设人形、山坪、斗仔崙、大墘头与华潭五处自然村，村民小组共10个。[1]

经济[edit]

特产是茶叶，林果有柑橘、杉木、毛竹与李子，村里另有茶场一座。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，「2023年福建省卫生村」的称号授予了旗星村。[1]
