大眉村是南安市眉山乡的一个行政村，位于南安市西北隅，西与安溪县交界。村名的来历是村后二山一岭，形如人之双眉。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时此地属金鸡乡的仁德里；元明清时期归二十四、二十五都管辖。民国时设大眉保，新中国成立后改为村，1958年为大眉大队，1984年改设大眉村委会。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

村庄地处山区，平均海拔500米以上，年平均气温18℃，年降水量为1800毫米。[2]

经济[edit]

主要农作物有柑桔、毛竹、茶叶等。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有眉山中学，眉山乡中心小学与中心幼儿园也设在本村，中心小学居村落中心，校内有一座清华楼。[2]
