外寨村是南安市眉山乡的一个行政村，位于南安偏僻山区，村名因位于外方而得名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

2000年5月，外寨村分设为独立的行政村。[1]

村民以苏姓为主。明代，苏姓先人自外地迁入，其后分居形成五个村落。[2]

2020年12月，被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版‘绿盈乡村’」；2021年11月，被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，外寨村经福建省农业农村厅认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，上榜「2023年度南安市‘和谐村（社区）’」名单；2025年5月，被确定为「泉州市2025年度市级‘一村一品’专业村」（主导产业：黑鸡）。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积约2.3平方千米，村内有11个村民小组。[2][3]

经济[edit]

耕地以水稻、甘薯为主要作物。村内母猪养殖较多，规模较大的养殖场有三家。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

外寨霞美桥是1957年由旅居越南、马来西亚的侨亲捐款修建的单孔石拱桥，长约28米，桥面宽3米。桥位于自金淘至眉山再通往安溪、南安的道路上，2026年3月列入南安市第六批市级文物保护单位。[4]
