古山村位于石井镇境内，村名历经多次更改，现名与境内的石鼓山有关。[1]

名称由来[edit]

村原名「华表」。因「表」与「婊」同音，村民觉得不雅，明朝年间改以境内石鼓山命名，取名「鼓山」，后谐音写作「古山」。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间村子归延平乡的杏林保管辖；新中国成立后划入和平乡，称古山村。1958年公社化后组成古山大队，1984年改设古山村民委员会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年10月，古山村被福建省农业农村厅列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
