名称由来[edit]

旧时村中建有石桥，村落聚居在桥头一带，村名由此而来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

早年这里属南邑四十四都。1958年公社化时期编入建设大队，1984年这里的村级组织称建设村民委员会；2000年7月，桥头另立村民委员会。[3]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予桥头村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将桥头村列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年10月，桥头村被确定为「泉州市2024年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为海鲜干货（沙虫）；2025年11月，又被确定为「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」，产品仍为海鲜干货。[1]

2024年1月，桥头村上榜「2023年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]
