老港村位于石井镇境内，村名与村旁的老港溪有关。[1]
名称由来[edit]
古时船只在老港溪上航行，无法张帆，只能摇橹，溪因此被称为「橹港」，村名也由此而来。博雅地名网称，村名后来经粤语谐音而改了字。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期这里为老港保；新中国成立初属胜利乡；1958年后设老港大队，1984年改为老港村民委员会。[3]
