林柄村位于石井镇驻地西南约1公里处，分为林柄一、林柄二两个自然村，聚落分布在石莲公路西侧的丘陵坡地上。[1]
名称由来[edit]
旧时村后有一片树林，树木挺拔，村民用其中的树木做工具的柄，村名由此而来。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年新中国成立后这里为和平乡林柄村；1958年公社化时期设为林柄大队；1984年改为林柄村民委员会。[3]
产业与设施[edit]
村中主要种植甘薯、蔬菜、花生与大豆，有石板材厂、医疗所与老人活动中心。省道201线从村中穿过。[1]
