苏内村位于石井镇西北部，在杨子山北麓的丘陵河谷间，村委会设在苏内。[2]村中以大苏、小苏、埔边、太原、九里寮等自然村组成聚落，主要种植水稻、甘薯、花生与大豆。[2]

名称由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，早先这里是苏姓先民的居住地，村名由此而来。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1937年（民国二十六年）这里称子杨乡苏内保。1949年后设为苏内村，1958年公社化时期改设苏内大队；1984年，此地建立苏内村民委员会。[4][2]

2025年1月，苏内村上榜「2024年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]

自然环境与产业[edit]

村中的石材是本地产业的特色，此地所产花岗石有霞红、锈石等品种。[2]

2002年至2005年间，村里开发了苏内工业园，石材加工企业陆续投产。[2]

基础设施[edit]

1969年，村里率先在全镇用上了电灯；1993年装上电话，1998年通了自来水。同年，苏内至福厦路（324线）及苏内至下房村的12米宽水泥路面建成。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

石井郑西庭墓位于苏内村九仔寮山，为明代古墓葬，花岗石碑上镌刻「皇明西庭郑公墓」。墓主郑西庭曾任五虎门副总兵，追赠镇国将军，是郑成功的曾祖父。该墓于2020年1月21日被列入第五批市级文物保护单位，由南安市人民政府发布公告。[5]

村中还有苏内慈觉林与红岭佛祖宫两处建筑，博雅地名网将其列为村中可看的历史文化遗存。[2]
