历史沿革[edit]
村原属三十六、三十八、三十九都，民国时期分属盈溪保、西塔保和大湖保。[1]
解放初，村以南侨小学为名，先后设南侨乡和南侨大队，1984年改设南侨村委会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
仙迹岩寺在村西南的山顶上，始建于唐末。1933年秋，晋南县委把「晋、南、同边区第一次苏维埃代表大会」安排在这座寺院里，会议因受到破坏而中止，后人立碑纪念，称仙迹岩会议。[1]
杨肃墓位于村内溪南自然村西南的仙公山，是五代医家杨肃的墓地。[2]1996年秋，当地杨姓与有关方面在墓地旁兴建太乙真人杨仙公陵园，陵园为南安市一级文物保护单位。[1]
