西锦村位于福建省泉州市南安市水头镇西部，东与埕边村相邻，西与朴山村为邻。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历是：早先由西村和林柄两处自然村各取首字，合称西林；因与他村重名，后改称西锦。[1]
原属三十九都，民国时期为西塔保，1949年后属朴里乡和水头镇。1953年间一度沿用西林之名；1958年成立西林大队；1981年又因重名改为西锦大队，村委会则于1984年设立。[1]
