水头村位于福建省泉州市南安市水头镇，村名取自大盈溪汇入鳌海之处的「淡水尾，咸水头」之说。[1]村与水头社区同在水头镇中心一带。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带从南北朝起已有人聚居，宋代已有渡口码头。[2]1957年，这里分设水头村和水头居委会。[2]

1958年并入官桥红专公社，1961年另立水头区，次年划归官桥区，改称水头公社。[2]1965年重新与官桥分开。[2]此后的1969年，居委会被撤销，并入水头大队；1978年居委会复设，1984年转为水头村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，水头村被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]2024年1月，水头村上榜2023年度南安市「和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]
