世纪新城社区位于福建省泉州市南安市水头镇，在世纪大道以东、奎峰北路以西。[1]据博雅地名网，它是全省首个以小区名字命名的社区居委会。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是水头镇荷楼片区改造工程中，为荷楼自然村居民安置而建的世纪新城项目，该项目于2006年底启动。[1]

社区党支部和居委会于2011年1月6日揭牌成立，此后在社区环境、文化和养老服务等方面开展建设。[1]
