西庄村位于官桥镇东北部，与晋江市交界，辖4个自然村。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自西林、下庄两村各一字，合称西庄。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属三十三都，民国时统归三同保。新中国成立初期并入竹和乡，1953年改属莲塘乡，1956年划归下洋乡，1961年设西庄大队，1984年改为西庄村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中西庄工业区内有近二十家企业，经济以陶瓷产业为主。省道324线穿村而过。[2]
