岭兜村位于官桥镇政府驻地北约6公里处，辖10个自然村。[3]

地名由来[edit]

村子地处梅花岭下，因此得名。闽南话中“兜”指近旁，“岭兜”即山岭的一侧。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清时属三十四都，民国时分为岭兜、桥头两保。新中国成立初期并为岭兜乡，1956年划入莲塘乡，1958年才设大队，仍取岭兜之名，1984年改称岭兜村民委员会。[1]

人物与旧址[edit]

清代慈善家张世整的故居在岭兜村，村子也是革命老区。[1]

石室岩革命旧址的年代为1933年，属市级文物保护单位。义和寨遗址是明代古迹，岭兜烈士纪念碑年代为1956年，与前者同属市级文物保护单位。[2]
