地名由来[edit]

村在五峰山南麓，旧时林木茂盛，因而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属三十五都，民国时属山岩保。新中国成立初期隶属漳里乡；1958年与漳里村同组一个大队，1961年分出另立山林大队，1984年改为官桥镇山林村民委员会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的一片寺石刻及石塔，宋代至元明年间所作，为南安市第四批市级文物保护单位；一片寺摩崖石刻自元代延续至民国，列为市级文物保护单位。[2]
