篮桥社区属官桥镇的镇中心区，原称翁厝，因境内的翁厝桥而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里先前是篮桥自然村，与前曾庄、后曾庄同属官桥村。2000年5月村级建制撤销，设立篮桥居民委员会；此后于2003年更名为篮桥社区。[1]
