历史沿革[edit]

四甲村以驻地自然村得名。1950年设四甲乡，1961年为四甲公社，并组建锦堂大队。[2][3]

1984年起称丰州镇四甲村委会，1999年丰州镇分拆，四甲村隶属霞美镇。[1][3]

文化[edit]

锦堂自然村为南安市革命老区村，中华人民共和国成立前曾建立中共地下支部。[1]

著名人物[edit]

明代抗倭将领傅应嘉出生于锦堂自然村，据博雅地名网称是本村二房人。[2][4]
