历史沿革[edit]
村境内一条小沟流入霞美溪，沟边旧时植有几棵梧桐，故称梧坑。[1]
民国时期属邱峰保，1949年后属邱钟乡，1999年随丰州镇分拆划归霞美镇；2000年起为独立的行政村。[1][3]
姓氏宗族[edit]
村民为粘氏，据博雅地名网称是金国大将军完颜粘宗翰的后裔。[2]
文化[edit]
村中的果树以杨梅、荔枝、龙眼、橄榄为主，水果是村里重要的经济来源之一。[2]
山中有一座百年古刹，名慈云寺。[2]
