历史沿革[edit]

此地原称霞湖；明清属二十二都，民国时为霞湖保，解放初设霞湖乡。[1]公社化后的1958年，此地改名为玉蓝；1961年分立为玉湖大队；1984年成为丰州镇玉湖村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻为主，较早发展了木耳、蘑菇等食用菌栽培。[1]

文化[edit]

旅居海外的侨胞及港澳台同胞众多，玉湖是侨村。[2]
