环山村位于丰州镇西北部山区，距镇区约3.5公里，因地处葵山环抱而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧属顶三都，中华人民共和国成立之初归西华乡。1953至1954年间称环山乡，1955年起为环山大队，1984年成为环山村委会。[1]

环山村在2021年11月由福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将其列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年2月，村子入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村内有十一个自然村，其中有赤崎、水吼、杏田等。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

韩偓墓位于杏田自然村葵山山麓，距村落约150米，墓主是唐末诗人韩偓，墓属福建省第十批省级文物保护单位。[1][2]

第四次全国文物普查新发现的不可移动文物中，村内有明代石窟寺及石刻「马垅摩崖石刻」。[3]
