历史沿革[edit]
元代设六都，民国年间此地分属仁宅乡的仁溪保与磨内保。1949年后沿用旧名，1958年成为六都大队。[1]
1984年隶属洪梅乡，村委会称六都村委会；1991年12月，改属洪梅镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
灵应寺位于大帽山南麓的半山腰。寺庙的始建年代有两种说法：南安市政府的文物资料记作五代后唐始建，百度百科则记作元泰定二年（1325年）始建。[2][3]现存建筑以清代为主，清同治年间（1862至1874年）曾经重修。寺中祀奉文愈大师，俗称灵应祖师。[3][2]
2013年1月，灵应寺被公布为福建省级文物保护单位。[2][3]
村中还留有清代古民居多座，民居的三雕装饰尤为丰富。村中另有灵仙宫与鲤鱼廊。[1]
荣誉[edit]
1996年10月，村子获福建省人民政府评为「家园杯新型村镇建设竞赛活动优胜村庄」。[1]
2005年5月，村子被命名为「农村环境卫生整治示范村」，同月又获「全市民主法制示范村」的称号。[1]
