洪溪村位于洪梅镇东北角，地势东高西低，东侧多山，西侧是平地。[1]东面的山名尖坪山，山上有尖坪水库。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由旧地名各取一字而成，原属洪濑六都的仁溪乡。民国年间此地属仁溪保，解放后划入六都乡。1961年设洪溪大队，隶属六都公社。[1]

1965年，东山埔与白壁两个生产队并入洪溪大队；1969年大队曾并入邻近的大队，1971年复又独立。1984年，此地设为洪溪村委会，1991年12月起属洪梅镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2002年10月，村子获评「泉州市敬老模范村」；2003年2月，获评「泉州市首批宽裕型文明村」。[1]
