洪梅镇坐落在福建省泉州市南安市的东北部，镇域面积48.52平方千米。[1]它的邻居依次是：东面为洛江区马甲镇，北面为乐峰镇，南面为洪濑镇，西侧则是罗东镇与梅山镇。[1]镇名的来历有两说：一说取自境内的梅溪；解放后地方长期归洪濑管辖，故连称洪梅。[2]

镇内最知名的古迹是六都村的洪梅灵应寺，该寺为福建省级文物保护单位，周边的灵应风景旅游区也以它为中心。[5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地属南安县的第五都与第六都。民国以后，这里先归洪濑镇管辖，此后又依次归洪濑区与洪濑公社。1984年，洪梅公社才转设为洪梅乡；1991年12月，洪梅乡再改为洪梅镇。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

洪梅灵应寺位于六都村，坐落在大帽山南麓的半山腰。寺庙的始建年代有两种说法：南安市政府的文物资料记作五代后唐，另有资料定为元泰定二年（1325年）。现存建筑以清代为主，清同治年间（1862至1874年）曾经重修。寺中祀奉文愈大师，民间俗称灵应祖师。2013年1月，该寺被公布为福建省级文物保护单位。[5][6]

灵应风景旅游区以灵应寺为中心。灵应森林公园在2002年4月获批为南安市第一座省级森林公园，景区于2003年3月通过了国家3A级风景旅游区的评定。[3]

著名人物[edit]

明代人陈瑞山，名储秀，字舜弼，号瑞山，出身南安县五都梅溪。他于嘉靖十一年（1532年）中进士，历任云南道、河南道监察御史，嘉靖二十四年（1545年）巡按广东。[7][2]

荣誉[edit]

2012年12月，洪梅镇以「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」的身份获得环境保护部认定。[2]

2023年12月，福建省爱卫办公示了拟命名的省级卫生乡镇名单，洪梅镇是南安市三个入选的乡镇之一。[4]
