洪东社区位于洪濑镇洪濑街东区，是镇区内的城镇社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
洪濑古镇原称伴那街，后改称洪濑街。镇街以中街和十字街为界划分东、西、南、北，本社区位于镇区之东，故名。[1]
原洪东街在1984年前由社一级管理，同年10月起划归镇管。成立党支部是1994年的事，社区居委会则于2003年7月11日设立。[1]
