东垵村在南安市梅山镇西北，距镇政府驻地约4.1千米，聚落位于东溪北岸的丘陵谷地。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村名因位于东溪畔一处垵池而得名。[1]
1958年归梅新大队，1965年分出自成东垵大队，1984年起为东垵村民委员会。[1]
1991年，东垵村下分出诗溪村民委员会，两村各自独立。[1][2]
经济[edit]
耕作以水稻、小麦、甘薯为主，也有砖厂与电子厂。[2]
文化[edit]
2023年1月，东垵村上榜「2022年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]
