历史沿革[edit]
村庄原属埔头乡。新中国成立后百姓翻身、见到光明，于是取名灯光。[1]
民国时期归罗溪乡埔光保管辖。1949年设灯光乡，1958年并入灯光联社；1959年与灯埔分开，自设灯光大队；1984年起为灯光村民委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村落位于芙蓉溪以西，下辖9个自然村，设7个村民小组。[2]

村中以水稻、甘薯、小麦为主要作物，林果有石榴、余甘。[2]
文化[edit]
2021年9月，灯光村被认定为「第二批全国乡村治理示范村」；2021年12月，被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」；2022年10月，被命名为「2022年全国示范性老年友好型社区」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
