鼎诚村位于南安市梅山镇的杨梅山下、东溪岸边，村名取民国时期鼎新保与诚新保各一字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

此前该地称作十八都古山头，早先的地名还包括武荣怀德乡丰年里古山头。[2] 宋理宗年间（1225—1233年），道斋公自刘林乡迁居芦川侯垵，繁衍成村，村中尊他为开基始祖。[2]

民国时期此地分为鼎新保与诚新保，新中国成立后两保合并，各取首字定名鼎诚。[1] 1958年公社成立时设了鼎诚大队，此后1984年起称鼎诚村民委员会。[1]

鼎诚与明新、演园两村并称「外侯」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积4.77平方千米，省道307线复线横穿村北，交通便利。[2][1]

村庄背靠杨梅山，山下有东溪流过。杨梅山古称大梅山，是梅山境内最高的山脉，梅山镇因此得名。[2]

经济[edit]

村里的企业分属制鞋、石材、机械、食品、针织等行业。[2]

文化[edit]

村中民间文艺团体常年活动，有舞龙舞狮队、南音组、小提线傀儡等。[2]

鼎诚于2020年、2021年和2022年先后入选「淘宝村」名单，2021年2月列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单，2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

西真寺位于杨梅山腰，始建于宋朝，寺中供奉观音。[2] 百度百科也将西真寺和娘妈宫列为村内古迹。[3]

村中仓内的娘妈宫，是村民祭拜的庙宇。[2]

此外村内还有陈塘江泗洲佛、码头桥等古迹。[2]

鼎诚是华侨刘海量、刘楣树的故乡。[2]
