潭溪村是罗东镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东北部，在大旗山麓、芦溪西岸，距镇政府所在地五公里[1]。村名取自“潭边”“溪西”两个地名各一字[1]。

2022年12月，福建省爱卫会授予潭溪村「2022年福建省卫生村」称号，福建省绿化委员会命名其为「2022年福建省森林村庄」[1]。2022年11月，潭溪村被确定为「2022年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」[1]。2024年1月，潭溪村上榜「2023年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单[1]。2006年，潭溪村获泉州市政府授予「宽裕型文明村」称号[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期这里分属若干保。解放初属高山乡，人民公社时期隶属梅山火箭公社。1962年划入乐峰公社，分为四个大队；1965年合并为一个大队，改属罗东公社[1][2]。

1984年，潭溪归罗东乡；1988年罗东建镇，它成为罗东镇下辖的潭溪村[2]。
