霞山村是罗东镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域北部，在芦溪北岸的溪畔，北靠大旗山，东邻乐峰镇[2]。村名“霞山”是雅称，原来因村子地处小山边而简称下山[2]。

霞山村获认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，认定单位是省农业农村厅，时间为2022年10月[1]。1994年和1996年，南安市委、市政府两次将霞山村评为文明村[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，霞山属霞山保；解放后隶属高山乡。1962年，霞山设立大队，划归罗溪公社[1][2]。

1984年，霞山改属罗东乡，成为霞山村；1988年罗东建镇后，它改隶罗东镇[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

村中原有清道光年间朝廷为黄火焕一家旌表、赐金所建的「五代同堂」牌坊，文革中被毁，现存部分[2]。
