山坂村是罗东镇下辖的行政村，位于罗东镇政府驻地以西1.2公里处，聚落在洞顶寨南麓的丘陵山谷间，呈块状分布[1]。村名原作沙坂，因境内地下多为沙质；1943年因读音相近改写为山坂，沿用至今[2]。

2020年12月，山坂村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」[1]。2025年1月，山坂村上榜「2024年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间，这里是罗溪乡下的山坂保。1949年以后，它归入罗中乡；人民公社时期则隶属梅山火箭公社的一个大队，即罗中大队。1962年，山坂另立大队，改隶罗溪公社[1][2]。

1984年，山坂归罗东乡，成为其下的山坂村；1988年罗东建镇，它随之并入罗东镇[2]。
