新峰村位于九都镇区东部，距镇中心区约2千米，东面与罗东镇高塘一带相接，西面临山美水库，南与新东村相交，北靠向阳乡。全村面积10平方千米[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1979年，村庄从新民大队划出自立，村后有大湖山峰，故称新峰大队。1984年设村委会，此后于1991年12月转为镇级村委会建制[1][2]。

地理环境[edit]

村内有南九、南永两条县道绕村而过，贯通各村民小组的村道路面宽阔平直[1]。

经济[edit]

村里以种植、养殖和商贸制鞋为主，多种经济并举，村内有柑桔生产基地，并有鞋服生产企业[2]。

文化[edit]

2021年12月，新峰村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」；2024年1月，村庄被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」[1]。
