码四村位于码头镇东北部，距镇政府驻地约9公里。1949年解放后，码头分为四个乡，此地排在第四，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时它隶属旧街保。解放之初，这里是码头镇下的码四大队；1960年因拆分而再次单独设队，到1984年转为码四村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村委会设在福顶坪，下辖若干自然村。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地以水稻、甘薯和花生为主。[1]
