码头村位于码头镇政府驻地东部，因旧时诗溪船运的终点而得名，村委会设在店口。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时这一带分为新街、旧街两保。解放后，这里的两个片区先叫新街村和旧街村；1958年实行公社化，于是有了码头大队。1960年它被拆成三个大队，1984年码头大队才改为码头村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

聚落分布在诗溪东岸的河谷间，村委会辖9个自然村。过去木帆船常在此停泊装卸货物。[1][2]

人口与民族[edit]

村内是畲族聚居地。[1]

设施[edit]

村里有针织、服装和皮革材料加工厂，有码头中心小学、初级中学和中心卫生院，还有车站、贸易市场和银行。乡村公路接泉永公路。[1][2]
