历史沿革[edit]

民国年间此地分属两个保。解放后这里先为新汤乡，1958年公社化时改称新汤大队；1984年，这里改设新汤村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村委会驻大草埔。居住点散布在金格水库的岸边，位于诗溪东侧的丘陵河谷里，村内有若干自然村。[1]
