南冬村位于码头镇东南部，村名取自境内两处地名各一字合称。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国年间它分隶两个保；1949年解放之初归诗南乡管辖。公社时期叫南冬大队，1984年以后才有码头镇南冬村的称呼与村委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村委会设在溪西，聚落在日坡山东北麓的丘陵河谷间，诗溪纵贯南北。村内辖有多个自然村，水泥路接通梅码公路。[1][2]
人口与民族[edit]
村中有畲族村民。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地以水稻、花生、甘薯和小麦为主，土特产有柑桔和茶叶。村里有纸厂、竹器工艺厂，并有一座电站。[1][2]
