铺前村位于码头镇南部，早年此地开设店铺，村民沿店铺一带建居，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地属南铺保，1949年后归诗南乡管辖。公社时期它并入另一大队，1979年才重新独立为铺前大队；1984年定名码头镇铺前村，村委会随之而立。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村委会设在土楼角，聚落分布在丘陵河谷间，东边靠诗溪，码梅公路穿村而过。村内有6个自然村，有双分水库和铺前小学。[1]

民族[edit]

村民全部为畲族。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，铺前村上榜南安市2022年度「和谐村（社区）」名单。2023年2月，铺前村列入福建省第三批「高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

2022年10月，铺前村被福建省农业农村厅列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
