鹏峰村位于诗山镇东北面，与码头镇的仙美村毗邻，是诗山镇的侨乡之一。村名得自村旁一处形似展翅鹏鸟的山势。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据传宋代朱熹途经此地，见山势像展翅的鹏鸟，便题刻“鹏峰胜地”，村名由此而来；博雅地名网的村介绍中又写作“鹏峰圣地”。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代时，此地归武荣十一都怀德乡太平里管辖，当时称霞宅乡。民国期间分作鹏东、鹏西两保，新中国成立初改称鹏峰乡。[1][2]

1958年公社化之后，这里一分为四个大队（鹏联、鹏展、鹏进、鹏里）；1965年又并为鹏峰大队，1984年定为诗山镇鹏峰村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

维基百科所载的诗山十八景中，“簸溪夜籁”在鹏峰村簸溪，“鹏峰胜地”在村内的小峰。[2]

人口与文化[edit]

村民以陈姓为主。侨胞陈水俊资助创办了鹏峰第二中学，村中的蓑衣手工编织已列为南安市级非物质文化遗产。[3]
