石林村位于金淘镇西北，由石茂与格林两村合并，各取一字而得村名。境内保留多座清代建筑。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代，石林属南安十四都，统于千金庙。民国时此地称格林保，新中国成立初为莲坑乡辖地。石茂与林格两村在1956年并成一个石林高级社；1958年公社化，又有石林大队；1984年改称石林村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域位于高盖峰南麓与朝天山东麓之间，浯溪江流经村畔，四周崇山环抱。省道307线贯穿全村。[2][3]

人口民族[edit]

截至2022年，石林村常住人口2632人。[3]

文化[edit]

村中保留清代建筑「汉式十间大院」四十多座，另有侯氏宗祠、浯洋宫、黄氏宗祠、卢氏宗祠与叶氏宗祠，以及惠泽宗庙等古迹。龟山瀑布与龟山仙洞也在村中。[2]

2022年，石林村被认定为南安市文明村。[3]

村中有玻璃厂与砖厂，盛产红砖与黑瓦。水稻、龙眼是村中主要种植。[2]
