时潮村位于金淘镇东部，村名来自1953年创办的时潮学校。村中以龙眼、荔枝种植为主要林果。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

时潮旧属十四都。此后这里曾设时潮保，又设时潮乡，再改为时潮大队；1984年才成为时潮村委会。[1]

1953年，村中掀起学习文化的热潮，办起一所学堂，取名时潮学校，此后以之为村名。[1]

2001年，村委会曾获先进党支部称号，同年还获两个文明建设先进单位的荣誉。2003年和2006年，村委会又分别得到两个文明建设先进单位表彰与金淘镇企业发展先进单位的称号。2023年1月，该村上榜「2022年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1][2]

经济[edit]

村中种有龙眼五百多亩、荔枝三百亩。三联开发区设在村中，有餐具、五金拉链、电机、针织与服装等企业。[2]
