钱山村位于金淘镇东南，村名取自境内的钱山宫，据百度百科所载，该宫始建于宋代。村中保留清代古民居、祠堂与宫庙。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代，钱山属南安县十三都，民国时称钱山保。新中国成立后归和平乡管辖。1958年公社化之际设立钱山大队，1984年方改为钱山村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

境内有南金公路穿过，村道接入省道307线。[2]

经济[edit]

村中有水稻、小麦、甘薯与糖蔗等农作物。域内有小学与茶场。[2]

文化[edit]

村内至今保留二十多座清代古民居，以及祠堂、宫庙与古井等建筑，其中“三雕”景观较为丰富。[2]

村中先人叶应祥，于清同治年间中进士。[2]
