金淘村位于金淘镇中部，村名取自境内金刚山（今称朝天山）与淘溪两者名称的首字。村内有千金庙与金淘书院两处文物，经济以第三产业为主。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代，此地属十四都。民国初年分属崇仁保与陶厝保。新中国成立后，先后隶属中心乡下的崇信村与陶星村。到1958年，公社化后设金淘大队；1984年才改为金淘村委会。[1]

2022年10月，省农业农村厅将金淘村列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年1月，该村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」，同月上榜「2023年度南安市和谐村（社区）」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村面积约6平方千米。耕地1206亩，山地1101亩，水稻与水果是主要农作物。省道307线由村境穿过。[2]

经济[edit]

村内经济以商业服务与皮服加工为主，南发针织厂等企业设在此处。[2]

文化[edit]

村内有侨光中学、金淘小学与金淘医院。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

千金庙在下圩街的西端，依金岗山而建，年代可溯至五代后梁。最初是一处府宅，后改建为寺，现存建筑为清代重修。1998年，它被列为南安市文物保护单位。[4]

金淘书院为清光绪元年（1875年）始建的院落，由金淘书院与侨光学堂两部分组成。2018年9月，它被列为福建省第九批省级文物保护单位。[5]
