云山村隶属翔云镇，位于镇政府驻地南面约3公里处，村委会设在下云。[1]

地名由来[edit]

云山村地处云峰山下，山高而多云，云山重叠，故名云山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子先前属二十八都，民国时属云山乡的福云保。1949年后归入翔云乡，成为云山村；1958年起划归英都公社。1971年翔云自立公社时，此地设云山大队。1984年起是翔云乡的云山村委会，到1991年12月，才成为翔云镇云山村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村境与翔云镇内其余各行政村相邻。村民聚居在云峰山北坡的半山腰，平面呈三角状。全村有6个自然村、5个村民小组，共366户、1823人。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

耕地568亩，山地2700亩。水稻、甘薯、油菜为主要作物，果树有李子一类。村有小学1所、电站2座。[1]

名胜[edit]

境内的石碑岩是一处自然风景区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，云山村获福建省爱卫办授予的「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
